The Landfill Division is responsible for the disposal of all trash, garbage, and brush in compliance with all applicable statutes and regulations.

Rules and Regulations
- Stop at Office
- Obey All Traffic signs
- Dump only where directed by spotter
- No Scavenging Allowed
- All vehicles hauling waste to the site shall be enclosed or have a cover to prevent the escape of load by blowing or spilling. Violation will result in an additional surcharge cost to aid in the collection of waste.
- All citizens of San Diego with water bills showing garbage fees and a driver's license or an ID showing proof of residency.
- Commercial and construction/demolition are not included in free disposal
Prohibited Materials

Junked vehicles, including automobiles

Rubber tires, tubes, and wires

Large appliances which shall mean larger than usual household appliances. (i.e., no A/C, freezer, and refrigerators)

No Cement or Concrete

Hazardous materials including but not limited to: chemicals, explosives, poisons, acids, oilfield mud, or brine

No horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, donkeys, or mules shall be deposited.
